Lori Amstutz, licensed tuner, technician and founder of Amstutz Piano Tuning and Repair, is tuning and reconditioning pianos in Calgary and the surrounding areas. She is a graduate of the School of Piano Technology for the blind, located in Vancouver, Washington.
Lori is skilled in many facets of piano technology, from tuning to regulating and a broad spectrum of repair work. She started her career in the Calgary area contracting her services to Irene Besse Keyboards Ltd. Prior to coming to Calgary, she contracted her tuning services to Classic Pianos, the Yamaha Dealer in Portland, Oregon and also assisted with tuning a large collection of Boston uprights and grand pianos at the Portland State University.
She is the current president of the Calgary chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild and participates in conferences and seminars to keep on top of what’s new in the world of piano technology, tuning and repair.
